Adding beautiful, custom additions to your home that reflect your personality and style is my goal.
VEN Design Interior is owned and operated by Valerie Nicholson, an avid seamstress since beginning designing and sewing in grade school. I furthered my experience with various sewing electives in University and in 2007 obtained my diploma in Professional Design and Decorating.
VEN Design was founded in 2011. Previously, it was a “side hobby/love” working with family, friends and acquaintances, mostly through word of mouth.
Currently, I am expanding to devote my full time passion for creating new looks for your home. My studio is located in my home , on Rt 258 in New Glasgow.
Clients are able to come to my studio and/or I will meet you at your home.
Drapery designs, upholstery , deck cushions, and even wedding /graduation gowns in the summer months are the main focus of my work.
A one- stop shop for luxuriant and sophisticated choices of hardware, colours, patterns and fabric options to enhance your home. Quality choices from suppliers such as JF, Robert Allan, Four Seasons, Charlotte, Adendel, Casper Hill leather, Inter-Leather, Claire Deco and George Jackson.
